Eligibility Open to the top two teams from each division of the NC HS State Championships, the individual High School State Champions, and the top 20 on the TYGA N.C. boys' junior rankings as of February 26, 2024. Team members must meet age eligibility set by their school. Any team not listed below may register online; these teams will be accepted based on their team's power ranking (top 3 player's ranking - collected during registration).

Registration and Acceptance Process 1. Coach enters team/individual on line starting February 26, 2024 at 8:00pm.
2. All teams/individuals will be placed on the pending list upon registering. Invited schools/individuals will receive an email with tournament conformation 4-5 business days after their registration is submitted.
3. All invited teams/individuals must register by no later than March 18, 2024 to guarantee acceptance.
4. If space is available, non-invited teams will be accepted based on the team's power ranking starting March 19, 2024.
5. If space is available, non-invited individuals not on an accepted team will be accepted based on rankings/space available starting March 26, 2024.
6. Invoices will be sent to accepted teams/individuals on March 27, 2024 and must be paid (checks or credit card) by April 12, 2024.
7. Coaches must submit final roster by 5:00 PM on April 10, 2024.
8. Starting times will be posted by 5:00pm on April 12, 2024.

Course Setup 6,800 yards

Yardages are subject to change.
Format The championship is conducted at 18-holes of team and individual stroke play. Each team may be represented by five players and must return four individual 18-hole scores to qualify for the team championship. In case of a tie for the team championship, the fifth individual score will be used to break the tie. If the fifth individual scores are the same, the school will share the championship team title. Any tie for medalist will be shared. MAX SCORE OF 8 on each hole.
Field Size 84 players maximum
Divisions There are no age divisions.
Starting Times Starting times will begin at 11:00am double tee start.
Starting Times will be posted 5 days in advance of event.
Push/Pull Carts Push carts are allowed and encouraged at all TYGA tournaments.
Electronic Measuring Devices Players may use an approved measuring device during this event (NO SLOPE).
Caddie Information Caddies are NOT allowed.
Prizes Trophies or medals are awarded to the winning school (a tie for team champion will be broken by 5th place score), members of the winning team, the medalist, and first and second all-tournament teams (five each).
Tournament of Champions Invitation to the 2024 Tournament of Champions will be extended to the individual medalist.
Rankings Information This event is used the for CGA/TYGA Junior Rankings and has a multiplier of 3.

GHIN Posting TYGA WILL post scores to a player's GHIN handicap record as long as the player's GHIN Number is in their tournament registration profile!
Spectator Policy Spectator Carts: Spectator carts will be for handicap only, allowed at a rate of $22 per cart. Spectator carts are restricted to the cart path at all times.
Spectator Policy: Spectators are encouraged to follow their child(ren). We do ask that all spectators remain on the cart path (roughs if no cart paths), unless assisting with the search for a golf ball. View our Spectator Policies for more information.
Withdrawal and Refund Policy If you cannot compete in the event, you must withdraw from the event online or by contacting the TYGA office at 910-725-4235 prior to the day of the tournament.  If you do not withdraw properly, you are considered a "no show" and you will be suspended from TYGA events for 1 year.
*NEW* Refund Policy: Withdrawals submitted THREE Days Prior or more from tournament date will receive a refund of the entry fee minus a $30 administrative fee regardless of reason if entry accepted into the tournament. Withdrawals submitted less than three days before the tournament will not receive any refund.
